With a week of 100+ degree days and the sun shining, you’d think the weather would have cooperated for the Fiber Funatics group. We learned Sun Painting (sun printing) on fabrics today. And, by the time we were all ready to put our pieces in the sun to get exposed, there was no sun to be seen. And then, it started to drizzle.
But that’s ok – I still have two very cool pieces of fabric which will find their way into an art piece or purselette… most likely purselettes, they’re the PERFECT size for a front.
It’s been too long since I’ve been around other artists, almost a whole month, I tell ya, and so my Mojo was waning. Alas, this was just what I needed and I completed a post card trade project which will be heading down ‘yonder. The card is based on the 2×8 design from Jean’s class, untitled:
