Confetti Whirls

Confetti Whirls was a class assignment, inspired by a dress and a poem. I went to my “stash” to find colors that would look nice in our new bedroom, because I knew it would be a piece I’d want to keep.  Confetti Whirls is about 2ft by 2ft, my largest art quilt yet.  It is free-motion quilted, and I used Rebecca Lilly Segura’s tutorial to “master” the binding.  I did put a false back on it, and it is hanging, inexpensively, from a curtain rod.
